The Miami Metromover is fantastic and yes they are extending it across the bay to Miami Beach, if our current federal government doesn't kill this in the midst of new budget cuts. I would love to have the monorail/people mover on its original alignment. An entire section of downtown was purpose built for it and the infrastructure is still in place. This, IMO would be better than the streetcar in function, although they serve different areas. A monorail or people mover on Broadway may not be visually appetizing.
Also, from what was earlier stated, we have another start of construction at he hope street building tomorrow. Excited for that
