SB obviously didn't kiss his ring before going public, like he actually cares what replaces the Amtrak garage. It's not going to matter here since there is no way that Rahm will let him screw over SB and put the Union Statiom redevelopment and an enormous potential property tax stream at risk. He may be able to fuck over other developers if they don't play by the usual rules but not these guys.
