This place is going to change the face of NY business geography. Canary Wharf has come to NY, but on steroids (it looks bigger, but i haven't checked the numbers). Who cares, it is similar to other major CBD's that have opened and turned people's perception of a city in an entirely different direction. This case, it's East to West, whereas in London it was West to East (opening up former docks to investment). Good thing the Stadium was not built I suppose. Only thing I don't like is the sterility of the Mall and some of the urban design which is a bit dated and some of the towers could be better, but overall a good development to help modernize the image of NY which, in comparison to some burgeoning Asian metropoli (and NY's future competition perhaps), was starting to seem a bit dated visually before some of the new projects broke ground.
