For a change of pace, let's head up and away from the bustling streets.
Not everyone needs to pay a fortune to get a beautiful harbour view. These residentials in east Kowloon are mostly public housing and perched on hills where they won't get blocked any time soon.
Kai Tak airport is slowly being redeveloped so this section of skyline will look very different in the coming years.
Meanwhile, the harbour-facing residentials on the Island side will cost you an arm and a leg, yet they face the undesirable north.
