Moncton to buy $1.4M scoreboard for events centre

Moncton city council voted in favour of spending $1.39 million on a scoreboard and video display system for the new downtown events centre being built in the city's downtown.
Council held a special meeting Thursday morning and the digital scoreboard was the only item on the agenda. Those present voted to purchase the scoreboard from Daktronics, a U.S. company that designs and manufacturers scoreboards.
