I think Lake Travis and Lake Buchanan are the only true lakes, as folks consider lakes in Texas, anyway...with LBJ in there also, I suppose. Inks, Marble Falls, Austin, and Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake are just step downs along the drop in elevation to the next lake.
I didn't know that about her desires in the naming of the lake. Interesting.
And....the project. I hope there's some sort of revamp with the design as well. As I recall, the original was pretty underwhelming, especially considering it's high profile location (on the lake and I-35).
