Why couldn't they just continue that new glass strip all the way down? I like that they want to preserve some of the original architecture, but just replacing some squares of the facade with glass doesn't look good.
Or just leave the damn thing alone and give it a clean, which is what should be done.
The AA&T Building is an icon of NYC and of its style and it should be listed as a historic monument.
