One thing I worry about with this wall forming along The Connector, what happens if/when it gets capped? Won't all of those buildings want to have a more hospitable face fronting the park? It reminds me of The American Cancer Society building downtown, which has a full block of curb cuts and loading docks fronting Centennial Olympic Park. It's not the most pedestrian friendly environment to walk.
Also, it just dawned on me that the blocks on W. Peachtree and Spring streets between 10th and 12th will see a major transformation with the proposal for the 60-story building diagonal from the new Google tower, the condos/apartments adjacent to that, and the Portman projects. It makes you wonder what could possibly be in the works for the old TBS building and daycare. Warner Media is in the process of merging with Discovery, and this chunk of land feels like the right spot for a possible expansion of the Techwood offices and studios once CNN vacates CNN Center in a couple of years.
