Demonym of your city - What are you?

What is the demonym of your city? What about your state/province?

If you're a resident of your city, what are you?

For Austin, we're called "Austinites" and we're Texans.

Post your Demonym!

Some smaller cities may not have one, and some states don't either.

More on demonyms.

Residents of the Phoenix metro area are known as Phoenicians, possibly one of the coolest demonyms ever.

Ooh, that is cool. Of course, residents of Mesa could be known as Mesans.

I live in Round Rock, which is a suburb of Austin so I supposed we'd be called Austinites as well, although Round Rockers sounds cool.

a few canadian deno-doo-dads from places i have lived:

toronto: torontonians
ontario: ontarians
halifax: haligonians (that's a good one)
nova scotia: nova scotians
montreal: montrealers (always hated that..too harsh for such a sweet city)

there are a couple of canadian names that are still mysteries to me:

ottawa: is it....ottawanians? not sure
regina: is it....regina..ites?...reginonians...reginals

i love phonecians...who cares if it is historically correct...if they call themselves that, then fine.

As far as I can tell, "Springs Residents"... though I'm not really sure. This actually comes up as a joke pretty often...
