How do i get the freakin Eiffel Tower on diagrams?

one thing I never liked about the way these diagrams are set up is how they cater to the true nerds among us. In order to get the most famous landmarks, you have to click all these check boxes in the bottom and hit search -- and even then you still wont get what you're looking for. Surely the average viewer of these diagrams doesn't give a damn about the whole building vs mast/tv tower debate. No mass casualties will be inflicted because the CN Tower is listed first in the Toronto diagram, or the Eiffel Tower for Paris. Rather than serving the practical and reasonable type of user, the diagrams are favoring the anal strict definition types -- the ones who close threads on the forum with their bickering and accusations of "cheating".

now with my rant over, can someone please tell me how I get the god damn Eiffel Tower to show up on the Paris diagram? Thank you.

[edit] I guess I shouldn't say "never" like I did at the top. The diagrams did in fact once have non building landmarks on it in perfect harmony with buildings. But I guess the anti tv-mast nerd lobby won out eh.

If we wouldn't separate highrises and other structures in the diagrams the first page of some cities would be filled with nothing else than guyed masts. Kansas City is a perfect example: http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=51513911

If you want to include the towers in a city, simply click the boxes for 'highrise', 'tower' and 'truss tower'.

Then the Paris diagram looks like this: http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=51513885

I agree that the towers should still appear. We can solve this issue by deleting all of the TV masts.

You also have to set Pinnacle Height as #1 instead of the Official Height which is normally set as #1 by default. Unfortunately, that will also include all other buildings with antennas in your search that would normally be ranked lower because of thier roof/spire height.

ah ok i got it to show up. Thanks for the help.

If masts make up the first 3 pages for Kansas City, then yeah that's a problem. But I still think users are better off scrolling through page after page just to get to the buildings of Kansas City if it means they don't have to no the difference between tower and truss tower just to get a world famous landmark. If anything, I think it should be the other way around. Give users everything and let them filter out what they want if they decide they want to be rigid. At least they will see that drawings for these other structures exist.

I would like to see all structures shown as default -- minus tv towers and fantasy. Even St. Louis doesn't show it's arch.
