Since 1999, SkyscraperPage.com's forum has been one of the most active skyscraper enthusiast communities on the web. The global membership discusses development news and construction activity on projects from around the world, alongside discussions on urban design, architecture, transportation and many other topics. SkyscraperPage.com also features unique skyscraper diagrams, a database of construction activity, and publishes popular skyscraper posters.
I've lurked through these forums for a couple years, in order to stay up-to-date on trends and developments in several cities. I sometimes take photos around my town when I am out and about. I have wanted to post in here for awhile and thought this would be a good icebreaker.
These are random photos I have taken over the past several years, and while I like to be artistic with photography often, most of these are simply snapshots of areas, and some are better quality. Obviously most of these are in the Uptown (downtown) area and a couple immediate neighborhoods. I have more that I intend to post that are taken in more suburban areas, showing the style/architecture of homes and commercial development in different parts of the city. In the mean time, enjoy these gems...
Thanks for the compliments guys! I just got a new camera, and it is traditional for me to start with new skyline shots and city scenes. Here are a couple for now, but I will soon be updating this thread with some new photos of more neighborhood street scenes.
