Yes, new here and I just had these pictures on my phone and decided why not. And yes born in Chicago raised in St. Louis. STL is my heart!

Anyone else ever think of St Louis as a ship? I feel like I'm staring out the wheelhouse in these pictures looking at downtown from somewhere high in the central corridor. I mean the shape of the city limits is even ship-like-ish. I guess that puts me in the engine room...

Ah, Washington Avenue in Midtown. The next frontier. As soon as Midtown Alley (Locust/Olive) get built out, I could see development on Washington really picking up. It already has Urban Chestnut Brewery, and there are some great vacant/underutilized buildings along that strip. Some really good spaces for restaurants.
