Google Streetview added for Israel.

And it's fascinating! Ever since I took my trip to Israel, I've wanted to explore via Google Images. Now I can. In particular, check out Tel Aviv, which looks like a cross between a traditional European city and Tokyo.

I was thinking the same thing. According to Google, the cameras went through in Oct. 2011. I have to say, it looks quite nice, much more so than I expected.

I lived 7 years in Petah-Tikva. Shitty little suburb of Tel-Aviv but I hope google expands there I wanna see my old stomping grounds.

Tel Aviv looks like big cities in Latin America. Doesn't really look remotely European, North American or Middle Eastern (IMO).

If you go near the core, you get a lot of Bauhaus buildings, which, IMO, make the city look very European. The scattered modern high-rises make the city look Asian, IMO.

Just did a Street View tour of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. It could take hours to do it justice, though. I really like the vegetation and flowers all over Jerusalem. I didn't realize it looked like that.
