Asheville, NC

I spent a week surveying a very interesting private school east of Asheville, NC in April. I had a few evenings to walk around Asheville. It is a very interesting town.

I still love my hometown far more than Atlanta. And you captured Asheville so well. I was missing home earlier today and looking for photographs of it. I just saw this thread title on the main page and had to see it! It brings back so many great memories of going into the city with family or having fun with friends. Thank you.

I miss Asheville! I'm gonna have to make a trip to Asheville/Maggie Valley this winter.

The black guy wearing the white cowboy hat, in the motorized wheelchair. He has cerebral palsy, but has one of the most glorious singing voices you've ever heard. I've heard him sing, and I saw him perform in a truly haunting play once. He and I have known each other for several years.
