Rocket launch off the DPM or how Tyler Perry convinced me to see Alex Cross

How did Tyler Perry convince me to go see a movie based on a book series that my Mom reads.
Was it the obligatory shot of the Michigan Central? no.
Was it the shots of the Packard Plant? no.
Was it seeing Madea chase down the guy from Lost? no.

It was ROCKET LAUNCHER OFF THE PEOPLE MOVER. That is right, the bad guy shoots a rocket off of a moving people mover. By far the coolest thing ever to happen on the Detroit People Mover and it only cost him $.75.

Amazon link to trailer Hand held rocket launch from DPM is at 1:50 in the trailer.

If this should be somewhere else I apologize. It was shot in Cleveland and Detroit so there are some great shots of the cites and great architecture.

I saw the trailer the other day, and the Michigan Theatre is a perfect backdrop in any gritty movie...but I can't take Tyler Perry serious, neither as a comedian nor in a dramatic role.
