Subdividing threads is usually a bad idea as people will start posting in the wrong thread and one thread gets pushed down the page and people can't find it and so on and so forth.
A general Brightline thread makes sense to me. If a more organized display is desired I would recommend people place "Brightline West" or "Brightline Florida" in the title bar just so the post is immediately understood as being news or an update of one or the other. As major construction begins on Brightline West and continues in Florida, with construction photos being posted it would make even more sense to clearly put either Brightline West or Brightline Florida in the title bar.
