Tornado damage in Americus, GA

The tornado did its worst damage on the east side of the central business district in Americus. On the other side of the street were several more buildings, plus bare trees full of shreds of yellow insulation.

More tornado damage. All that's left of the buildings in this plaza are the awning and the steel frames. Everything else is destroyed. (I couldn't take any pictures on the left side of the road because there were cops lined up and down the street, and I didn't want to make myself look too "touristy" for their liking.)
