Has anyone been to Africa?

I've always wanted to visit, but I'm too young right now.

SO I was wondering if anyone on this website has been to SUB SAHARAN Africa before.

If you have:
What's it like?
If you've been to more than one country, how do they compare and contrast?
How is the urban living?
How is the STANDARD of living? I know many are developing countries..
