Some structures are built on top of the bridge... I guess that's the skybridge bracing?

Has anyone noticed that the Jin Mao Tower is the tallest (completed) skyscraper that has never been the world's tallest building? Now this record will go to its neighbor...

Ahhh, I just got an image of Shanghai with Taipei 101 next to WFC. Quite odd.

What a beautiful building...
Magnificent, the cladding looks awesome. I know some people would have liked to see a bit more of the frame, and maybe that would have worked too, but it sure is fine as it is now.

I really like how different it looks when seen from two different diagonals. For some daft reason I didn't realise it would do that until I saw the pictures on the last few pages of this topic.

Anyway, very cool design.
And that "bottle-opener" in the top (as opposed to a round hole) is no longer annoying now that I'm used to the idea...

^Nice find! Good shot, as its hard to get that much lighting in, even i the city.

Also, this is "MLG AllStar", just switched my name.

Yes, the hole is topped out, level 100 skybridge is under construction, and the top part level 101 will be rising soon.

Very tricky to understand how this top is built. There is a combination of temporary and final bracing I can't sort out
