City Sidewalks is kind of the unofficial (or maybe official) kickoff to Christmas in Abilene. A nice evening long celebration downtown with choirs, bands, kids playing bells, churches giving out hot chocolate, food vendors and folks selling those annoying bright rope thingies that kids like to twirl and wrap around their necks. There is also a parade and Christmas tree lighting and I managed to snap 0 usable pictures of either of those. Maybe Santa will bring me a camera that doesn't suck.
