Any clue as to the height of the building? Hopefully it isn't just a foot taller then the Xerox tower. a 500+ footer would be great. In the D&C article they make mention that 370 units are being built or are coming on the market in Rochester. Does anyone know what projects they are? I was born and raised here and am happy this is happening.

we won't know the exact height of the building until PAETEC hires an architect, which I guess won't happen until later this spring.

This is very exciting and I can't wait to see the designs for the building

Not so fast Pal! We are all very excited for the news, but lets keep things in perspective.

"PAETEC Holding Corp.'s new corporate headquarters, to be built where the Midtown complex now sits, probably will consist of two buildings. The taller of them will rise slightly above One Xerox Square, according to PAETEC Chief Executive Arunas A. Chesonis."

We will see! The BSC Tower is'nt dead yet, and We still dont know how tall Seneca Casino Tower will be in Buffalo, or, even if Paetec will be as tall as Buffalo City Hall let alone HSBC. Try to calm down. (but man this is exciting)

Just out of curiosity, how many buildings have public observation decks at the top? I can't think of too many in medium-sized cities like Rochester. To me, this sounds like a very philanthropic gift to the community by PAETEC. They certainly do not have to include one in their office tower. It's good to have companies who actually care about their community like PAETEC really seems to.
