Downtown Denver -- 4.13.2008 -- about 50 shots

Denver has an open house for several buildings throughout the city every April -- special thanks to DenverAztec for letting me know about this. Checked out 3 downtown sites today the D&F (Daniels & Fisher) Tower -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniels_&_Fisher_Tower -- Union Station -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Station_(Denver)) and the Museum of Contemporary Art -- http://www.mcartdenver.org/

I only got a couple of outside shots of the Museum of Contemporary Art -- but Denver Aztec has more in one of his earlier threads.

Excellent shots, MobyLL! I was in several buildings as part of Doors Open Denver, but I somehow forgot to go to the top of the D&F Tower!

Oddly enough, the view from the roof of the EPA building featured some great views as well, though!

Good to see you back!

I really like those shots from the D&F Tower and you seem to have taken many shots of familiar things, but seldom seen in Denver photos. Wonderful pics!

Wonderful photos Moby! I believe this was the only weekend of the year that the Daniels and Fisher tower is accessible to the public. Hopefully you went to the basement cabaret in the tower? Love your street level shots as they really capture the historic feel. I went to at least 20 structures for Open Doors Denver this weekend, out of the 80 that were open, and will post some of my pics once I get them organized. Thank you for sharing in your post!

Yinz denvernites are always bringing back fond memories. I don't just know every single picture you have posted pretty much, I have fond and some messed up memories of those streets.

Moby, is that OZ architecture? If so, my old company did a lot of work with them.

Yeah been crazy busy with things recently... I know i've missed a ton o' goodness here on ssp. And what little free time i've had i've been devoting to Ex-Ith's 2008 presidential campaign... which despite rumors to the contrary that you may have heard from the obama, clinton and mccain camps... Ex-Ith's campaign going VERY well. I fully expect Ex-Ith to get at least 5 or 6 write-in votes in Nov.
