Love every single picture on this. It's interesting how Old John is actually more wide known, or at least, more famous or talked about within chicagoans than Sears. It must be the location, because its Magnificent, this building is so plain, yet so interesting. It defines the north part of the skyline IMO. This building will always be loved by Chicagoans and people who visit Chicago, I love it, and it also has the best observation deck the city has or ever will. I wonder when a major renovation could happen? Anyway, thankyou for the VERY NEEDED thread, so we can discuss Old John, and learn something, because till today, im still learing about one of my favorite buildings in the chi.
