Largest population centre on Cape Breton Island. Regional Municipality consists of 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 8th largest Urban Areas in Nova Scotia, plus a huge landmass of rural land and smaller landmass of suburban sprawl that doesn't make it into the urban area criteria. Under old municipal boundaries, Sydney was 3rd largest city in NS behind Halifax and Dartmouth. 2nd largest metro in Nova Scotia and 5th largest in the Atlantic Provinces.

SPAR Rd Power Centre Expansion
Mayflower Mall (the curved building makes the mall larger than it looks from the outside, though still small by most not-small-town standards)

SPAR Rd Power Centre will connect to Mayflower Mall at these traffic lights (both owned by the same company).
