Nice set of photos. My fathers family is from that area, the Idaho side between Franklin and Preston on the Cub River and I spent a lot of time there while growing up.

I know what you mean by hidden because that little corner of Utah and the area above the state line in Idaho are off the beaten path and a lot of people I come across, even in Idaho, know very little about the Cache Valley and Preston, Logan etc.

California seems to have every type of landscape - that's why you can film so many movies there
