NORFOLK, Va. (Downtown, Freemason, and Ghent)

I finally got around to photographing my favorite areas of Norfolk, so I figured I post some of them here for you guys. Hope you enjoy!

(Note: Norfolk's got a lot of construction going on, so please forgive the cones and such.)

Downtown:

I love this building, Union Mission.

Scope.

Norfolk's newest addition to the skyline...

Wells Theatre...

Just thought this was cool. The bricked over the inside, so it's just kinda hanging there now.

Freemason:

Ghent:

Thanks and take care!

Great tour, I dont get to see enough of my hometown region anymore. I had to laugh at the shots of Ghent though, several of those photos look like they were lifted from 1990 cause there are a number of shots that look like they havent changed one bit.

Granby St looks better than what I remember it looked like when I moved. City Hall Blvd always pisses me off because of how dead and pointless of a street it has become. Hopefully with some proper urban planning and the new light rail station, that might make some changes happen on that street.

The Union Mission would make such a great hotel, it has the perfect layout and look for a classic hotel.

Nice tour. Good to see Norfolk is getting another tall. I stumbled onto the Freemason area last time I was in town, quite nice. Thanks for the dandy pics.

Great photos, and a nice change of pace from the usual shots of Norfolk.
