That video from the very top of the spire is insane. I'm not usually bothered by heights, but something about being on top of that tiny point (at least it looks tiny from the ground) puts my hair on edge.
Do they have any kind of high speed elevators in the Burj Dubai? From that last video from Imre it takes 34 seconds to go down 10 floors. Not counting stops for other people, that is over 9 minutes from top to bottom...I hope they work that out, I for one would not want to spend 9 minutes in an elevator.
