Ok, we get it, DT Houston has shit tons of parking lots. But dont you parking lot bashers know that the city in the past ten years has covered up I believe nearly 23 blocks of parking with either buildings or parks? That leaves about 31 more blocks of parking left to be developed. So at this pace, in 10 more years, downtown shouldnt have too many more parking lots left.

Lol, no you took that the wrong way. I meant they put trees there for shade right? But that parking lot just had 1 little tree in the middle, like it would actually make a difference for the cars. I just thought it was kind of funny.

I'm totally with you on the Houston parking lot thing. And I usually tell the same thing to people when they bring that up.

That one tree is actually for the pay station, so it still makes a little bit of sense

Wow they are working on this thing fast! One floor per week!

Of course the small floorplate helps.

Yeah, only one of the great urban greenspaces in the city. Helped spurred a lot of the new development in Downtown. Hard to imagine where Downtown would be without it.

I know, it's odd that construction is well under way and the only rendering we have is a hand-drawn one that is a few years old. Who knows what it's gonna look like?

Guess we'll have to find out!
