The densities of urban areas in Asia are amazing. What surprises me in these photos is that the amount of people seen doesn't mesh with the built environment. I'd expect to see a NYC crush of people given the verticality of the city. What's the story here... and thanks for the photos!

Thanks everyone... Actually seoul is very density like other asia city.

But above photo is taken in Yeido which is finance disrict so less dense.

Yep. Seoul metro is convenience and wide. If you buy T-moneny IC card. Can go everywhere in seoul easily.

Dear PIP God speed your Seoul trip. Maybe you arrive at Incheon airport...

Recently Hangang renewal by Hangang project.

But seoul more effort to make mordern city.....like Tokyo

I see too many people don't know where is seoul city..location and history. Many korean well known america city's name and location like Manhattan, NYC ect through movie and drama.

It looks to me like it's got an awful lot of concrete. If it was that awesome I'd bet there would be more people to be seen in a city the size of Seoul.

It is surprising to me how much this city looks like the Seattle area where I live. Of course, it is different... but not extremely so. The architecture and mood that I am seeing in those pictures seems like it would fit pretty well in the context of the U.S. Northwest.
