As much as I love tall buildings, I do not have high hopes for this project, especially when you visit the stellar website associated with it (which I am pretty sure mister DJ Mix-FM created himself).

Yeah, that's the billboard I'd mentioned earlier seeing when driving onto Hawthorne before. That building would look pimp there, straight up. They should make it happen, as well as others in that viscinity so that you can see them peeking out over the trees and smaller structures when driving westbound on the 417 from Cassleman, etc, approaching Anderson road or Walkley...

I wonder how far Mr. Saade can go with this before anyone involved with the design of the original Saade Centre tells him to get his own design, lol!

Considering the fact that Mix FM never worried about copyrights or profanities on air I believe the sky is the limit in his dreams of getting this thing built.

Several weeks ago the CRTC sent trucks in and took away DJ Mix-FMs radio tower from the strip joint on Bank St. They tried to get the radio equipment but it appears that it made it out the back door on time.

Maybe once the Saades find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or sell all the urban land (that for some reason is under the mothers name ) they'll be able to build this building and put the tower on the top.... with out permits of course.

The add is on Walkley & Russell rd at the south west corner.
Is this the location of this project?
(Saade International Centre, 2710 Walkley Road)

Yes, but as this project is almost certainly a hoax, we can all safely ignore it.

I've sent e-mails before asking for details on the project and its location.

I always get one liners 2 weeks later...lol.

Cheers,

The Jeanne d'Arc Plaza at Jeanne d'Arc Blvd and Voyageur Drive has recently been re-christened the "Saade International Centre" complete with sign very similar in design to the one that was at the Walkley/Russell site.

Sounds like a more fitting property for the designation, given all that has (not) happened to date.
