1. The Hanoi Road redevelopment is getting quite huge.


2. Tourists now pack the waterfront to board sightseeing boats.

10. A government exhibition has detailed plans and models on the Central Harbourfront reclamation.

14. The Mandarin Oriental is still closed for renovations.

17. IFC 2 is still huge.


18. Here is a new skyscraper in Central. I don't recall seeing it go up but I might have missed it when I was in town last fall.

23. Here is another skyscraper a few blocks away with a simple yet elegant facade.

25. I like taking the tram to see the sights. I needed to cool down and sat at the front enjoying the breeze.

wow! those park plans looks alot like Chicago's grant park!

i feel like these cities are switching places, chicago is becoming alot more like hong kong and hong kong is becoming alot like chicago!

This is a really nice group of pics-showing change in the Waterfront area especially. The weather was quite good and the temperature was very comfortable for a long afternoon walk. May is usually a good time to visit here. I love the photos.
