As a former Toronto resident, I can say that this is the first thread that truly captures the vibe of the city. Absolutely fantastic thread. After living there, I've been wholeheartedly convinced that Toronto is one of the greatest cities on Earth. Thank you!

Thanks!! You're all too kind!

I've rekindled my interest in photography so I hope I'll have some more interesting views of the city to post as we head into summer...

You truly capture life in that great city. I've been there about six times and every time I visit I'm still impressed.

I recently found out that I will be moving to Toronto and remembered this thread as being one that made Toronto look almost as good as Montreal. I was the last commenter, but I just had to bump it again. Great stuff!

Hey I just signed in on a whim and saw this first comment in two years! Thanks for the bump!

So when are you moving to Toronto? Whereabouts are you going to be?

It's so jarring that outside this forum you rarely see Toronto being promoted as a tourist destination, or hear people really talk about it. It's an urban paradise that the world should recognize far more than it does....up there with NYC and London.

These pictures are perfection.

Next summer, but only for a few months, but will very likely end up there long term. The next couple years will be unsettled between Toronto, Montreal and either the US or Europe.

Somewhere downtown (working on Bay and have no desire to commute).
