Oshawa (Durham) developments & news

Uoit also has a massive plan to bring much development into the core

http://www.durhamregion.com/news/edu...article/175711

Anyone know what happened to the Genosha Hotel? Ran out of money?
I think eventually it will be completed as UOIT is putting massive investment into the core, & I can already see some of the effects.

Recent improvements to Oshawa downtown.

-Mr sub being turned into a coffee shop (simcoe & bond)
-Chex tv station on simcoe
- Court house
- Alger press building (So happy they kept the old smoke stack)
- UOIT health and sciences building
- gm center

I'm excited to see the core grow & turn Oshawa into a real city again.
we need the tallest buildings to be something better then the Non-quon towers & in the core.
