The best two sites for downloading simcity material are SC4Devotion.com, and Simtropolis.

There are other sites of France, Spain, and Germany. but I don't have the information right now. There you can find good material but the best two one sites are SC4Devotion and Simtropolis without doubt.

One of the best lot creators from my prospective is a mexican called debussyman, search for him in the web.

Here's my city in progress..

Just to let you know before hand... because I like to make model-like cities and I don't actually like trying to fiddle with my Sims' problems all day, I use cheats.

But here's my city in progress!

I used to play SC4/Rush Hour a lot. I never cheat. I don't see the point. It does take a lot of time to get to the big city level. One thing that still disappoints me is the transportation/freeway simulation. It seems like "sims" will choke the frontage roads and not use the freeways. That's why it isn't smart to build frontage roads, which isn't realistic. Also, they don't take the freeway when it takes less time. I not sure of the way it works, but it isn't quite right. It needs to be tweaked. Every once in a while I get an urge to play, but I don't have the time.

^ The NAM modd on STEX and LEX exchanges really helps the commuting problem. Plus the Simtropolis and BSC geeks are always updating it.

This thread has me convinced to go back to SC4 and play around with it. I will have to check out some of the suggested sites and downloads.

I lately have been playing CitiesXL 2011. It has it positives as well.
