Didn't see any thread on this so I created one trying to follow the naming conventions I see. Mods, please correct if wrong.

A meeting has been scheduled about this proposal. Every time I read about one of these meetings, it's always after the fact and it seems like the same people have gone to these meetings and said all the same things. So here's a chance for the pro-intensification people that do seem to exist in Ottawa and post on this board to go and get your say in on the matter. You know the ever faithful nay-sayers of Ottawa are likely already assembling their troops to fill the meeting with doomsday prophecies.

As of this posting, there are no plans available on the City website yet but the announcement does say these will be coming soon.

BTW, I won't be going as I am no longer a resident of Ottawa. I personally dislike the city and gave up on it as a home. I just come up three days a week now to scoop up all the easy money I can from Sprawlawa. From reading here though, I can see there are forward thinking people who do care and would like to see Ottawa as a better and more sustainable city. Your gonna have to fight for it. That starts with getting your views beyond this message board. Good luck.
