^ agreed. But at least it adds some variety to the skyline in this part of town along with the One St. Thomas building.

It could use some bright green/red/purple painted zig zag painted accents on the crown and edges of the setbacks. There'd be plenty of artists willing to do this work for $10/hour

I like it 1930's classic New York City lines. The closer you get, the less the impact the building makes though.

That style was prevalent in every city in Canada and the US that built skyscrapers in the 1920s and 1930s. New York just built more of them than anyone else because it was the biggest city around. It's no more a New York style than a Montreal style or a Detroit style.
