Does anyone know what is going in on this little laneway that sits behind the Starbucks on Locke? There used to be a house there but now it is gone which makes me think something is up.

The plan is for this to be part of the "Allenby Lofts II." Brian McHattie mentioned it in one of his newsletters here.

Part of the property is to be added to the Lofts and part will go toward parking.

Application made for severances so part of McKerlie’s property can be added to the Lofts (this is a good item as it allows the building to be moved away from Poulette backyards, ) and McKerlie gets Valvasori land so Doug can have his public parking lot (45 spaces approx – although they need to issue 10+ permits for their tenants)

This needs to happen. On Dundurn too. Locke is great but it needs more life on the street at night.
