I don't care what your chart says... which is full of it... but Toronto's GDP/capita is higher than Buffalo's, and the figure for Calgary (lower than Des Moines????) is much higher than Buffalo's... dream on. They also appear to be confusing personal income with GDP/capita.... they are not the same thing, which blows their credibility right away.
I'm sorry, but the numbers have to make sense for me to accept them... but they obviously don't.... Buffalo - the 19th highest gdp/capita in the world with Des Moines in 15th place? Yeah right. Actually, Des Moines income per capita (2009) was $23,545 :

Toronto's average house hold income (2012) is $105,000, whereas Des Moines was $43,000 (2009 median). That makes a lot more sense. BTW, the figures for Calgary would be higher than those for Toronto.
