The older picture looks more like 1950 or 1960 and not like 1990

Someone added a 3D model of this building at its current construction state on Google Earth! It looks really well done.

^ I also made a 3D model of the fully constructed Shanghai Tower in 3D Warehouse. (it sucks but the proportions are correct). Here's a link.

I appreciate the self-deprecatory humor. Thanks for making the effort and posting the link.

Here's the fire resistance testing of the inner (layer) portion of the cladding.

葛清

Apparently the cladding passed, after resisting and staying intact for 40+ minutes.

^ It was actually intended to be that WAY. It was a plan since the early-mid 90's to have a 3 brother cluster. Boy did all three buildings turn out GOOD.

WTF? Last time I looked at this thread, which was maybe like a month ago, I swear it was only about 10 stories above ground, and now its half the height of Jin Mao already! I wish we built stuff that fast here in merka.

Actually, yes, it is. It's been very rainy and damp in Shanghai for the past month.

Shanghai doesn't get smog anywhere near as bad as that.
