It took me a while to figure out where that was! That is an angle you don't normally see of the Gateway area.

Yes it is quite different from previous decades. The towers on the left side of the guideway, the lights around the new recreation area, and the new low-rise apartment buildings on the western edge of KGB alter the internal image of the old area.

I was at a friends place on the Sumas mountainside in Abbotsford and snapped this photo. Incredible visibility that day. Photo is of downtown Surrey skyline and New Westminster skyline from east Abbotsford. I didn't even think it would have ever been possible to see that far in the valley.
