I just walked by today as well, but forgot my camera. I saw the crane though... I will take pictures shortly.

I remember looking at condo apartments in the ornate building right behind the blue crane a few years back when visiting Philly. They were asking between $250 and $300K, if I remember correctly. Really great units, classic old architecture. I wonder what those units go for now?

Here's one fresh on the market. Great apartment destroyed by cheap furniture.

At least there are no plastic slip-covers over every single surface...

Ha yes I will do so this weekend. I'm busy at work till Saturday. Kinda difficult to have your camera on you while you're running! I will take a nice weekend stroll this weekend: hopefully get (1) Family Court (2) 2116 Chestnut (3) Market St. Add-On and (4) Barnes/Sister City projects.

Unsure... some sources say 34 floors... some say 35 floors. Either way it will probably get just over 400 feet.

accuracy could be way off, but here's my quick shot at a vision of this building by modifying the rendering a bit

picture is from picturephilly.com, don't know who took it

Not bad dude but 2116 Chestnut should be to the left of Murano building. Unless that is some sort of optical illusion.

Murano 2101 Market

2116 Chestnut.

It should be in that gap between Murano and 2400 Chestnut.

Not to belabor the point but this tower would have had so much more of an impact on the skyline (from that vantage point) if the tower was facing N-S instead of E-W. From that viewpoint you are only getting the edges of this tower.
