the asian side is kind of like the queens of istanbul.
the kadikoy neighborhood is built over the former ancient city of chalcedon.
however, relics going back to 5500BC have been found there.
first is the charming commuter ferry ride across the sea of mamara and
over the mouth of the bosphorus from karikoy in the old city

türkbalon is a helium balloon moored on kadıköy quay, taking passengers during season for a fee up to an altitude of 200 m, offering a panoramic view of the area and the historic center of istanbul across the bosphorus.
