Love the look of Tacoma. I don't think I have seen pictures before. Really interesting & great photographs.

Great post!
It kinda looks like Portland..except maybe a little more density and height. Makes sense I guess.

Tally another one up to Tubs for yet another great thread! This is my first time being exposed to Tacoma and I'm really loving its bones.

I really wish american neighborhoods would've followed the same development patterns their CBD's set. Imagine how many great cities we would have if that happened (and of course if urban renewal never happened)........

Oh Tacoma, my hometown. I have a love/hate relationship, but this set warms my heart with some good memories of the old gal. Indeed, Tacoma has come a long way in the last 15 years. I don't make it down much, but I think after looking at these photographs, I'll be cruising through and taking stock of what Tacoma has to offer. Thank for the share.

I missed this rascal back when, glad it popped up again. I have a soft spot in my heart for gritty port cities (must be from my days in the Navy). Love the industrial/railroad pics, the beat up old bridge, the steep hills, and the rusty & grey overall look. Some great bones there too. Thanks for the tour Tt.

A little too blue collar and rustic of a city for my taste, but great set!
