Sadly Newark has demolished ALL of its brownstone/historic townhome neighborhoods. There are none left, only small pockets exist. The Ironbound is great though. It may not be as beautiful or historic but it's lively. It's too bad the day was grey.
Sad but true. James street and some areas around it have some nice brownstones. The ironbound, though littered with many ugly vinyl boxes, does have some gems. Thanks for holding NJ down Nexis.
