Dallas- Aggressive transit building via DART, eclectic walkable neighborhoods like Oak Lawn and Oak Cliff, the Stunning new Downtown Arts District.

Ft. Worth- awesome historic preservation in Downtown especially the Tarrant County Courthouse, walkable areas between Downtown and TCU, Bass Hall.

I like going to the State Fair and seeing UT beat OU (it happens occasionally!). My sister her family live in Dallas and love it. I haven't tried their DART yet, but I need too. The sheer size of it is amazing.

Ft Worth is the only other city (with OKC) to vote against Obama. Other than that, I don't know much about it. I wish I did. I always hear it is a very fun place to visit, but never really have.

The two together as a DFW area are HUGE. The massive size of DFW is probably what I think most about it. I don't just mean area size, but in how many people and things are there. Also I hate Jerryworld.
