Angry Nov. 13 - 20, 2010

Last week has been crazy with a whopping new 97 drawings this week.

1 - O2jam.KR - 27 - 28%
2 - Skyscraper Sebastian - 22 - 23%
3 - Steamboy - 17 - 18%
4 - Ganymed - 8 - 8%
5 - Eduardo Segundo - 5 - 5%
5 - Etesia - 5 - 5%

O2jam.KR has 27 drawings, a 540% increase from the week before last week. Last week O2jam.KR made Bando U-Bora Santorini, Balaklava Bayfront Plaza, Emco Twin Towers, Majestower Seomyeon, and much more!

I (Skyscraper Sebastian) made 22 drawings, a 4% decrease from the week before last week. I made a new Sears/Willis Tower, Al Yaqoub Tower, United International Mansion, US Bank/Library Tower, and much more!

Steamboy made 17 drawings, the week before last week, Steamboy put in 0 drawings. Steamboy made the General Motors Building, Silver Towers, 1095 Avenue of the Americas, and more.

Ganymed made 8 drawings last week, a 43% decrease from the week before last week. Ganymed made the new Caldbeck TV-mast, the new Black Hill Transmitting Station guyed mast, Kamin des Kraftwerk chimney, and more.

Etesia made 5 drawings also tied with Eduardo Segundo. Etesia made no drawings the week before the last week. Etesia made 3 Dongstan Posco - Metapolis towers plus more.

Others that couldn't made the list were:
Name - # of drawings last week - # of drawings week before last - %decrease/increase
Alliance - 1 drawing - 0 drawings - N/A
Alphard - 1 drawing - 0 drawings - N/A
Danka96 - 2 drawings - 0 drawings - N/A
Fortunate4now - 1 drawing - 1 drawing - 0% increase/decrease
Gabriel Palma - 1 drawing - 1 drawing - 0% increase/decrease
Ka777 - 1 drawing - 0 drawings - N/A
Koops65 - 3 drawings - 4 drawings - 25% decrease
Matthew Dumont - 1 drawing - 2 drawings - 50% decrease
Miki1993 - 1 drawing - 2 drawings - 50% decrease
NEW! Tadpolefarm - 1 drawing - 0 drawings - NEW ILLUSTRATOR!

With O2jam.KR suprisingly beat me, it will be a competiton to see who does the most next week, who knows maybe another illustrator will beat us both. We will see next week to see the winners!

Thanks for telling me Fortunate4now. I edited all the previous posts that had your user name on it. For some reason I thought your name was Fortune4now since it sounded correct and looked nearly identical.

Post Stats of Week 22.01.2011 - Some Way back here !

Week 15.01.'11 - 22.01.'11 : total of 43 structures. (31 Highrises + 12 Miscelaneous) Even my limit were 50 at least to do!

Just an explanation before: I stopped doing that, mainly because it is a hard job doing those stats, but as Skyscraper Sebastian tried to following me and asked me inside to continue doing, here i do again, because this time was not so much difficult to do, also I participate in many things in paralel today.

This time i do different: Analysing the Highrises Part separated to the Miscelaneous Structures part and a conclusion together.

HIGHRISE: 31, none lowrise this time, because all more than 50m high!

A- All wonderfully buildings this time in same nuance style per illustrator, but all top designs and illustrations. Percentage in this part is below.

A.0. Steamboy made the most beautiful beautifull buildings in Asia and the most in quantity, 15 in total.
A.1. Koops made the 3 Tallest ones and wonderfullly made in his style. Etesia did 3 also.
A.2. Alphard made the most beautifull 2WTC until now and the most precise according the renderings, but it was 2 buildings made from this illustrator.
A.3. Many people did 1 building to keep ourself doing here. In the list Alphabetically worldwide was Anders F (the lowest, but almost 100m Mark reach), Archix, Gabriel Palma (SONY Building Ad), Martin H Unzon (who did the most late modernist highrise this time), Mike K, Skyscraper Sebastian, Skysensations (me) doing the unique ruin on-hold building this time, mainly because the owner posted this very easy to do building recently in the Vacant thread, in which i did not more than 10 min at Power Point and Paint noised.

PS1: Congratulations for the wonderful work.

Position - Illustrator ------------------------ Quantity ---- Percentage (%)

01........... Steamboy .....(Most Productive) .............. 15 .............. 48
02........... Koops, Etesia ....................................... 06 .3 Each.... 19
03........... Alphard ............................................... 02 .............. 06
04........... Anders F, Archix, Gabriel Palma, Martin H. Unzon, Mike K,
.............. Nguyen, S. Sebastian, Skysensations ........ 08 .1 Each ... 26
_____________________________________________________________
TOTAL ............................................................... 31 .............. ~99

The percentage is rounded under, reason why 1 % is unreal in partial total.

MISCELANEOUS: 12 in total, 11 Masts & Chimneys + 1 Bridge.

B- All wonderfull structures of those odd illustrators Ganymed & Skysensations doing 11 Chimney & Masts and just 1 Bridge this time.

B.1. Illustrator Alpha (Ganymed) can even in most similar structures like those 6 Chimneys make a difference of their main specification appearance, even in the other 6 tiny Masts very tall, taller than most 'buildings' sometimes.
B.2. Illustratos Skysensations (Me) made this Valley Bridge one of the tallest Railway in Germany.

PS2: Congratulations for the wonderful work.

Position - Illustrator ------------------------ Quantity ---- Percentage (%)

01........... Ganymed .....(Most Productive) ............... 11 .............. 92
02........... Skysensations ...................................... 01 .............. 08
_____________________________________________________________
TOTAL ............................................................... 12 .............. 100

Final Observation:
It does not make much difference which Structure Type it is, because comparing side by side in diagram, you see how a bridge or a mast taller than a highrise could be. So here the Statistics all together:

Position - Illustrator ------------------------ Quantity ---- Percentage (%)

01........... Steamboy .....(1st. Most Productive) ........ 15 .............. 35
02........... Ganymed ......(2nd. Most Productive) ....... 11 .............. 26
03........... Koops, Etesia ....................................... 06 .3 Each.... 14
03........... Alphard, Skysensations .......................... 04 .2 Each.... 09
04........... Anders F, Archix, Gabriel Palma, Martin H. Unzon, Mike K,
.............. Nguyen, S. Sebastian, ........................... 07 .1 Each ... 16
_____________________________________________________________
TOTAL ............................................................... 43 .............. 100

Finals of Finals:
Interesting to see how Miscelaneous is important in the general Stats at End in total bringing people for different positions in the Chart of Productivity !

An easy visual Graphic way to show this week.

Week 22.01.'11 - 29.01.'11 : total of 24 structures. (22 Highrises + 2 Chimneys)
Even my limit were 50 at least to do, I did because it was an easy way to show graphically the comparing!

Graphical Differential: Lines in Light green of 50m, Blue of 100m, Yellow of 200m and Orange of 300 shows how most of time the highrise Structures are most appeared in the diagram site part from illustrators. It is interesting to see that the 12 Buildings are between 100m->200m range, at least 50% in this diagram. Only 3 are more than 300m high. And just few are in range of 50m to 100m, even when those are the biggest in quantity worldwide abroad in several countries. Predominant is the 150 Mark Range then.

HIGHRISE: 22, none lowrise this time, because all more than 50m high! Even the 1 Chimney is 35m high.

A- All wonderfully buildings this time in same nuance style per illustrator, but all top designs and illustrations. Percentage in this part is below.
B- Congratulations for the wonderful work.

Final Observation:
It does not make much difference which Structure Type it is, because comparing side by side in diagram, you see how a Chimney taller than a highrise could be. So here the Statistics all together:

Position - Illustrator ------------------------ Quantity ---- Percentage (%)

01.... .... Steamboy .....(1st. Most Productive) ........ 11 .............. 46
02.... ... Koop65 ........(2nd. Most Productive) ....... 04 .............. 17
03....... Skysensations ...................................... 03 ……………... 12
03........... Miki1993 .............................................. 02 …………..... 08
04........... Anders F, Artemco, Matthew, S.vd.Valk .…. 04 .1 Each ... 17
_____________________________________________________________
TOTAL ................................................................ 24 .............. 100
  • Koops made the tallest building mainly in China more than 300m.
  • Steamboy did the most beautifully quality and quantity this time in the range between 100m->200m-250m.
  • The highrises of some 50m are from Matthew and Anders F.
  • Skysensations made a turn-back doing some interesting buildings, one On-hold not shown here.
  • Miki did also beautiful like the top-chromed quality of same level of Skysensations’ type.
It is given virtual medals this time to the contributors this site: somelike Skyscraper Sebastian likes to do!

Week of May 19 - May 26

This week and following weeks, I'm going to be doing a design inspired by M.K., I'm sure he won't mind.

51 diagrams this week with 35 normal buildings

300m+ Buildings: None
200m-300m Bldgs: Four
150m-200m Bldgs: Six
100m-150m Bldgs: Twenty-Two
50m-100m Bldgs: Three
Lowrise Buildings: None

1st place---XxxX----------------------------------013 diagrams----37%
2nd place--Steamboy-----------------------------007 diagrams----20%
3rd place--Etesia---------------------------------005 diagrams----14%
4th place---Gomz, Ry, Matt. D.--------------------002 diagrams----0.5% each

--XxxX made 1 diagram for 12 buildings! I think that it is a new record

Week of May 26 - June 2

54 drawings this week with 53 normal buildings, meaning only 1 misc. structures. I guess Ganymed was busy this week.

300m+ buildings: Four
200m-300m bldgs: Two
150m-200m bldgs: Six
100m-150m bldgs: Eighteen
50m-100m bldgs: Twenty
Lowrise Buildings: None

This week there was a lot of 300m+ buildings, a bit above average. Koops drew the tallest undrawn building, so congratulations Koops, also that building is the tallest (proposed) building in Shenzhen. Sebastian drew the tallest building (proposed) in San Francisco that was "undrawn" before (There were other drawings, but none were the primary since they had an incorrect height). Sebastian also drew the tallest building (proposed) in Santa Ana that was undrawn before. Sebastian K. also drew the tallest building (proposed) and the current tallest building in Honolulu, both undrawn before. TowerInternet drew the tallest (proposed) building in New Rochelle that was undrawn before.

1st place-Sebastian K.-----------23 drawings--------43%
2nd place-AndersF--------------10 drawings--------19%
3rd place-Koops65--------------05 drawings--------09%
4th place-Steamboy-------------03 drawings--------06%
5th place-J. Eduardo, Varghedin--02 drawings--------04% each
6th place-See below-------------01 drawings--------02% each

List of Shame (Only did 1 drawing)
Alexenergy
Gomz
Matthew Dumont
Roomie
TowerInternet
(If you're on the List of Shame, it doesn't mean you're a horrible illustrator, we're just trying to get you to do more talent)

So, some observations:
--Gomz & Roomie continue doing 1 drawing a week
--Sebastian K. who was inactive for months, now is the most productive illustrator of the week with almost half of the illustrations of this week
--Steamboy didn't produce that much illustrations this week, but they still have high quality

AndersF gets credit for doing 1 misc. structure.

Week of Dec 22 - Dec 29

98 drawings last week with 91 normal buildings and 8 misc. structures.

300m+ buildings: Six
200m - 300m bldgs: Zero
150m - 200m bldgs: Four
100m - 150m bldgs: One
50m - 100m bldgs: Seventy-Six
Lowrise buildings: Four

50m - 100m bldgs have been growing out of every where last week. I haven't seen this many buildings this size submitted and that 83.5% of all drawings this week were from 50m - 100m bldgs is absurd. If you want to do the blame game on who did this, Levshev & Artemco submitted most of the 50m - 100m bldg drawings last week.

For the rankings, some of the higher submitters might have their drawings a little inaccurate due to the high submissions of a few illustrators.

1st place--Levshev--------------------47 drawings---------52%
2nd place--Artemco-------------------25 drawings---------27%
3rd place--THEc-----------------------04 drawings---------04%
4th place--J. Eduardo------------------03 drawings---------03%
5th place--Koops65, Steamboy, Archix--02 drawings---------02% each
6th place--See below------------------01 drawings---------01% each

Small Quantity (but some quality) List:
Truetolife101
Francisco Canas G
S.vd Valk
Bolognium
Realcity

Credit to Ganymed & J. Eduardo Segundo Hernandez for misc. structure drawings.
