Also, the mullions at the Hillshire brands HQ is bad, but kind of what I expected. I guess they lose the credit they won imo from restoring the exterior to brick similar to the original design.

I think the person who bought the old Motor Club Building out of bankruptcy last year did say a hotel was a possibility. They also said they would consider building an addition on that tiny lot next door or a parking garage, which I really hope they don't. Anyway, We should see some kind of plans for the building and the tiny lot soon I would hope.
O.K, after my post above I went and did some digging and found some recent news:Brochure dated 3/14/2012. The people who bought the building out of auction were lenders to Roti, the owner who filed for bankruptcy. Roti was trying to partner with Virgin but that deal fell through but they had already created a design for the new addition next door. It looks like, as I had hoped, the new owners are basically keeping the plans that were meant for the Virgin hotel. So it looks like plans are in the works for a hotel there.
