The traffic, the relentless summer heat (May through September), and the time spent wondering if water will be coming out of my tap when I'm thirsty.

(My list of good things was way too long to type, so I went with my short list of negatives.)

Gotta be the Highrise boom and Imagine Austin that will double the city's population within the central core over the next 30 years. Austin will now grow differently than the other Texas cities and will look like no other city in Texas.

I'm late to the party, but I'll post some off the top of my head.

State Capitol Building
University of Texas
Colorado River/Town Lake
Outdoor spaces/parks/trails/oak & pecan trees
Mt. Bonnell
Pennybacker Bridge
Food (burgers, bbq, trailers, texmex)
Zilker tree & Trail of Lights
The History (my ancestors moved to the area in 1837 and fought to push the Natives out so Waterloo could be founded)
The Laid back attitude with very little pretentiousness.

From what I've seen in pictures I have to say the skyline. And how much it has chance during just a short time.
