I love how Philly has the right amount of everything; grit, class, history, gentrification, decay... I'm also dying for a real cheesesteak right about now. Great thread, thanks!

there goes that speedline again. love the milk & honey cafe. absolutely hate the new barnes building. (i'm over the move and want to visit the museum, but i think the building itself is complete, overpriced shite. although i look forward to seeing the olin landscaping.)

heck of a show as usual, old timer.

The landscaping is wonderful (or it will be when they've finally completed the work). The reflecting pool with the Japanese maples and the Ellsworth Kelly...I can't wait to see in the snow.

Thanks everyone!

Great Photos of Philly, sadly we don't see much of it on here... I need to visit soon.

Philadelphia City Hall is still one of my favorite buildings in the US.

That's the window washing crane.

Supposedly the one on Cira Centre across the Schuylkill is the world's largest or was when the building was done almost seven (!!!) years ago.

This thread is unfair. The more I scrolled down, the more favorite pics I had. Too many choices damnit. Next time you do one of these please consider how it may fluster an already confused old man.

btw, thanks for sharing your Philly with us vz.
