Kansas City, MO has a nice skyline for a city of it's size. I haven't been to visit KC since 1990 so it's been a while as I need to check out what's new, and see how downtown has changed.

Definitely improved downtown since then, I remember what a ghost town it could be when I was a kid.

Damn, looks like a pretty nice city, passed through on my way to Lawrence, Kansas. Looks like it has a fairly intact downtown and well kept up. Sweet photos too mang.

great shots. kansas city is built like a smaller, more intact detroit with deco towers, wide boulevards, and gracious pre-war bungalow and shirtwaist neighborhoods with a downtown that was built to punch above it's weight back in the day.

Wow, I am embarrassed to admit that I was expecting all parking lots and like, an Urban Tavern plopped somewhere in between.

This actually looks really nice and dense.

@Buckeye Native 001- That building is the recently constructed Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Kansas City is looking good. Quite the undiscovered gem, IMO.

i love the new at+t logo on the old long-lines building hovering over the sprint center, like, hey guys at+t is cool too!

these shots are so great! i particularly enjoy the shots looking north and out and over the missouri river valley or looking south down into midtown, highlighting kansas city's linear nature.
